Junior Bulldogs ADM
ABOUT OUR ADM PROGRAM
The Junior Bulldogs ADM program, headed up by Shady Side Academy Prep Coach Eric Tangradi, will follow USA Ice Hockey’s recommended American Developmental Model, which will focus on heavy skills development and small area games, along with limited travel for higher level U8 players. Also helping coach and develop the Junior Bulldogs will be Shady Side Academy Girls Prep Assistant Coach, Pam Lloyd.
The program will consist of a hybrid model of Hockey Acceleration and Hockey Acceleration with Limited Travel. Every child will be evaluated and placed on teams. There will then be a tryout to determine the competitive U8 limited travel team.

Hockey Acceleration
- Instruction led by Eric Tangradi, Pam Lloyd, and certified USA Ice Hockey coaches
- On the ice 2 times per week consisting of practices and games that follow the ADM
- Age appropriate skill development (Skating, Shooting, Passing, Hockey Sense)
- Opportunity to participate in jamborees with other organizations
- Will receive a Junior Bulldogs uniform
- Season will run from September to March
- Players must obtain a USA Ice Hockey number
Hockey Acceleration with Limited Travel
- Instruction led by Eric Tangradi, Pam Lloyd, and certified USA Ice Hockey coaches
- Playing in PAHL (Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League)
- Opportunities for local and travel tournaments
- On the ice 3 times per week consisting of practices and jamborees against other PAHL organizations
- Age appropriate skill development (Skating, Shooting, Passing, Hockey Sense)
- Will receive a Junior Bulldogs uniform
- Season will run from September to March
- Players must obtain a USA Ice Hockey number
All Junior Bulldog players will be rostered under the Aviators program, allowing them to play in USA Ice Hockey sanctioned tournaments, leagues, and jamborees.
